"Let there be music!" multi-level program
For in-home daycares
children 6 months to 5 years of age

This 30 minute discovery of music program is based on the Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze methods and was created to allow children to discover the sounds and rhythms of the world around us and within us.

Through songs, games and instruments, children taking this 30 or 45 minute class will be exposed to musical concepts such as pitch, dynamics, rhythm and tempo as well as basic theory including the musical staff, notes and their values, clefs and rests. A wide variety of instruments are used in this program including piano (keyboard), xylophone, recorder, guitar, maracas, cymbals, rhythm sticks, drums, etc.

Classes are created with little musicians in mind and always include movement, singing, instruments, listening activities and play. Every child is different and and progresses at his pace. This in mind, children are encouraged but never forced to participate.

  • Instruments provided during class.
  • Daycare provider must be present during class.

Cost
$33,00 per class (regardless of the number of children)
8-week minimum

For example :
An in-home daycare with 6 children, registered for a 12-week session will pay 396,00$ (12 x $33,00) or $66,00 per child ($396,00 divided by 6)

An in-home daycare with 9 children, registered for a 10-week session will pay $330,00 (10 x $33,00) or $36,66 per child ($330,00 divided by 9)

  • A teacher will be assigned to your daycare and will teach this program, right in your living room!.
  • Variations’ team is available September to June. Summer sessions may also be available based on teacher availability.
  • Classes are offered to daycares with a maximum of 10 children.
